Our Operator client based in Lancashire contacted SONA when they could not find another blinds company to help them solve the issues presented by the bi-fold door design at their two purpose built rental vacation chalets in Hambleton. The client requested to have all the blinds motorised to allow ease of use for the holiday dwellers and also for catering for disability clientele. Having the bedroom blacked out was also a priority.
We engineered our SonaCell with Honeycell 25mm blackout cellular fabric, in combination with our Somfy remote-control 12v electric motors and accompanied by a hard wired mains power supply. All the blinds were connected to wireless RTS wall switches and a Somfy Tahoma Switch smart hub. The blinds also were complimented by a Perfect Fit International framework system in anthracite grey 7016. The blinds are almost ‘hidden’ when not in use and blend seamlessly into the bi-fold door and window frames, which allows the guests to focus on the beautiful countryside view.
